  • ️ WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Applicable to: Laptops, Desktop Computers, Printers and accessories
Issued by: MEDIA HOUSE, OPP.GANDHI SMRUTI BHAWAN,NANPURA,  SURAT,GUJARAT.

  • Media House will follow the terms and condition of the parent company of the product.Final decision will be of the parent company of the product under warranty.
  • Below are the general guideline for warranty execution of different products which Media House sells.

  • 1.  Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for:

  • Laptops & Computers: Hardware components (motherboard, RAM, hard drive/SSD, processor, display, keyboard, etc.)
  • Printers: Internal components (print head, logic board, power supply, etc.)

 

✅ Covered by parent company of the product:

  • Hardware malfunctions
  • Factory defects
  • Non-user-induced failures

 

❌ Not Covered by parent company of the product::

  • Physical damage (cracks, dents, broken screens)
  • Water or liquid damage
  • Electrical damage from surges, lightning, or poor wiring
  • Software corruption or malware
  • Printer cartridges, toner, ink refills, or maintenance kits
  • Damages due to misuse, unauthorized repairs, or negligence

  • 2.  Warranty Period by parent company of the product:
  • Brand-New Laptops/Desktops: 12 months to 36 month from the date of purchase.
  • Printers: 6 to 12 months (depending on brand)
  • Refurbished Products (if applicable): 1 to 6 months, depending on product type

Note: Warranty period begins on the date of original purchase, as mentioned on the invoice.


  • 3.  Proof of Purchase Required

Warranty is valid only when presented with:

  • A valid invoice/receipt from MEDIA HOUSE.
  • Product with matching serial number

Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.


  • 4.  Warranty Claim Process

To claim warranty:

  2. Bring or ship the product to our service center.
  3. Provide:
    • Original invoice
    • Brief description of the issue
    • All included accessories (power adapter, cables, etc.)

  • 5.  Repair / Replacement Policy
  • We will inspect the product and determine whether to:
    • Repair the defective part
    • Replace with an equivalent product or part
  • Issue a credit note (only in rare cases)
  • Replaced products or parts may be new or refurbished, as per availability and parent company policy of the product.

  • 6. ⏱️ Service Turnaround Time by parent company of the product:
  • Average processing time: 7–14 business days
  • Delays may occur based on availability of parts or manufacturer response.

  • 7. ⚠️ Warranty Void If by parent company of the product:
  • Product is opened, altered, or repaired by unauthorized persons
  • Serial number is tampered, removed, or unreadable
  • Use of incompatible accessories or software
  • Product damage due to poor handling or transportation

  • 8.  Limitation of Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement under warranty terms.
We are not responsible for:

  • Data loss
  • Business interruptions
  • Third-party service costs

We strongly recommend regular data backups.


  • 9. ️ Authorized Warranty Support

All warranty repairs are handled in-house or through authorized service centers only.
